This restoration has been a labour of love . On returning from two years in New Zealand in 2008, we found a huge hole had appeared in one of the lower ground floor walls. Determined to rescue the building, our restoration project began.
Desperate measures to keep it safe before emigrating to NZ in 2006. The roots of the tree you can see here, will eventually damage the basement wall and trigger the restoration.
